Our new online “Cabinet of Curiosities” is gathering its collection
and is looking for input from you.
The outcome of the online “Cabinet of Curiosities” project and the ultimate disposition of its contents are unknown at this time. However, currently we are looking for image donations (just images) of objects in personal collections that are strange, humorous or odd and could be items indicative to your trade or just incredibly interesting or surprising. We are looking for the widest range as possible. If you know someone who fits the bill or can broaden our cataloging that we can contact, please forward this information along..

This is an opportunity for show and tell or an opportunity to advertise yourself, a cause, your business, interests or a website. Academic folks, this is a chance to show off your humorous side. Collectors, this is a chance to show off your odd lot. People, this is a time to show off your eclectic interests.
On the site currently are sample pages with items already received and a brief history of cabinets of curiosities. What are we interested in? Surprise us.
WHAT NOT: This is not an opportunity to submit your own artwork. It is not an intellectual forum and/or highbrow artistic stage (Though your link can do this, through a bio etc.). It is also not a chessy joke site. We do encourage artists, intellectuals of all kinds to submit images. We also would like submissions from the layman, i.e. from scientists to plumbers. On the other end of the spectrum, this is not a place to send funny images snagged from the Internet.
Those images we choose to include in the online cabinet will be based upon factors such as diversity, originality and oddity. However, we encourage you to send images without over-analyzing their potential worth.
